Greetings all,

This weekend, starting Saturday 5/8 at 2:00 PM EDT and ending Monday 5/10 at 11:00 AM EDT we will be running a Battleground Event on all Normal ruleset servers. Cathal Valley will be opened to all players, regardless of character and realm level. While inside of Cathal Valley, Realms will endeavor to slay Martigon, a Demonic Emissary of Lilith. This monster NPC spawns centered on the road between all three realms mile gates. The realm which lands the killing blow to Martigon will be granted with an Enhancement NPC that will spawn and last for five minutes. This NPC will grant members of the killing realm a RP/BP buff of 15%, which will persist through death and last one and a half hours.

Please be aware that CS will not take appeals regarding Martigon's death. He is placed in an RvR zone and it should be understood he will be highly contested. Martigon will spawn consistently 20 minutes after each death, so if your realm at first fails to claim their buff the chance to try again will soon present itself.

Also ich war am Samstag Abend mit dem "Gaby-Zerg" da.

War eigentlich nichts besonderes außer, dass mal Leute in Cathal waren^^

Man musste einen kleinen mob umhauen und anschließend einen Typen anquatschen der einem dann einen RP boni buff gegeben hat (15% für 90 min auch wenn man zwischenzeitlich stirbt).
Es war aber definitiv nicht für 16+ Leute ausgelegt und somit eher "drüberlaufen"

Epische Schlachten in Cathal gabs aber nicht, da die RPs dort dem bg angepasst sind und so alle lieber wieder ins "große RvR" wollten.

Im Großen und ganzen eigentlich kaum der Rede Wert das ganze (meine Meinung)

Screens habe ich leider keine.

hmm, irgendwie kriegt Mythic/GOA das mit den Events ned so hin. :ka:

Ist ja klar, dass die ganzen RP-Suchtis sofort ins große RvR abhauen, sobald man einen 15% Rp-Buff bekommt, der in der FZ wirkt. :salute:

Andererseits kann Mythic ja auch nix dafür, dass wir nur noch an 3 Monster-Zergs sticken anstatt sich einer Herausforderung zu stellen :langweilig:

Hätte ja paar Ideen, wie man die BGs mit einer 90%igen Wahrscheinlichkeit wiederbeleben könnte aber die lassen mich ja ned an ihren Quellcode ran :sauer:

Be sure to join in the action, as this may be the last time this event is seen for a while. Cathal Valley will be opened to all players, regardless of character and realm level.
