The Infernal Auction is Coming!

This Thursday, 8/5/2010, marks the start of the newest DAoC Developer Live Event, The Infernal Auction!

Merchants have been sighted across the Realms, bringing with them powerful items scavenged from the battlefield of last months the recent demonic invasion. Denizens of the Realm of Albion will find these peddlers of mystical wares in close proximity to the Smith's Forge in Cotswold. In the lands of Midgard, a caravan of merchants has been spotted setting up camp just outside of the portal leading to the Shrouded Isles outside the town of Mularn. Finally, travelling salesmen have taken refuge near Ardee in the Realm of Hibernia, drawing in supplies and tempting passersby with their goods near the well just to the North of town.

Travelling with these Merchants throughout the Realms, Jonda Dawn seeks to reward those brave souls who participated in the vanquishing of the demonic hordes during last month's Live Event, Infernal Awakenings. Those who bear the titles of Destroyer, Conqueror or Vanquisher of Arnak as proof of their deeds may speak with Jonda and choose a prize for their efforts. Please be sure to choose carefully, as all selections are final.

Those who have visited these merchants have reported that fine food, drink and displays of fireworks are plentiful. As the day wears on and the wine flows freely, there are slurred whispers of a special auction to be held in the coming weeks (August 19th 2010 to be specific) where buyers can bid on the most potent of items salvaged from the battlefield. Only the most venerable of their merchants are entrusted to sell these goods, so be on the watch for more information about this special Developer Lead Auction.
